Name, email address, company name, and login credentials.

Subscription and billing details (processed securely through our payment partner — we do not store full credit card information).

b. Interview Data

When you conduct an interview using Interview Watchdog, we may collect:

  • Webcam and screen recordings of the candidate's session.
  • Timestamps and metadata, such as window focus changes or potential anomaly events.
  • System information (operating system, active display count, and process metadata) — only when necessary to detect cheating attempts.

Note: You are responsible for ensuring that all interview participants are informed that monitoring and recording are taking place.

c. Usage Data

We automatically collect anonymous technical data such as:

  • Device type, operating system, browser type, IP address (truncated or anonymized),
  • Feature usage metrics and performance logs,
  • Crash reports or diagnostic information.

d. Communications

If you contact us (e.g., for support or feedback), we collect your message and any attached information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Detect and prevent cheating or misuse.
  • Improve accuracy and reliability of anomaly detection.
  • Communicate with you regarding updates, technical issues, or beta feedback.
  • Process billing and account management.
  • Comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Interview recordings and related data are stored securely on encrypted servers.

Beta users' recordings may be deleted automatically after 14 days, unless extended through a storage add-on.

Diagnostic and usage data may be retained for up to 12 months for internal analysis.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@interviewwatchdog.com.

4. Data Sharing

We only share data with third parties necessary to operate the Service, including:

  • Cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Payment processors (for billing and subscription management).
  • Analytics or error monitoring tools (for improving stability).

All partners are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations consistent with this policy.

We may also share data if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest,
